This year our theme is "Hispanic Artists and Authors". Each month we will be discussing and doing activities about Hispanic artists and authors who teach us to express ourselves and allow us to see ourselves in them achieving excellence. Lessons and activities will be provided via Google Classroom.
Sora by OverDrive
Due to COVID-19, this year we are not able to use the books in the library until further notice. Therefore, we have this new app "Sora" for our students and staff to utilize. This app is a virtual library where we can access eBooks and audio books. The accounts are under the Esperanza Elementary email. (A video on how to utilize the app will be posted promptly)

Science Fair
This year the science fair will take place in January 12, 2021- January 15, 2021.
We will be helping the students participating through Zoom meetings. There is a google classroom specifically for the science fair information and links for the zoom meetings.

Principal's Club
Our focus this year is on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics (STEAM). We will be doing some fun, hands-on activities that integrate all of these fascinating subjects for the principal’s club. These activities will be distributed to take home and we will be connecting via zoom. This way the students will be able to participate and practice social distancing. The activity packets will be available for pickup the week of our zoom meetings that take place from 1:15 PM-3:15 PM.
